• Support to harmonization of all relevant policies at all levels and provide technical support for the implementation with particular focus to preparedness and response;
•  Support local governments to adopt relevant policies and to enhance disaster governance to address to address disaster risk and promote climate change adaptation.
• Undertake training, workshops and simulation exercise on DRR policies and governance issues with customized training, simulation and workshop programs.

•  Managing Risk: Managing risk in private enterprises and public corporations is becoming an important protecting measure that injects resilient power to the organizations for mitigating risks and managing emergencies effectively. It consists of analysis & assessment, planning and training and simulation exercises.
•  Business Continuity Plan (BCP): Your organization has to remain operational even after an emergency occurs that is possible only after having a robust business continuity plan (BCP) plan in place with required training and orientation on the plan. Our dedicated experts support your organization through planning and preparation to ensure that the organization will have the capability to operate its critical business functions during an event such as natural disasters, a global pandemic, workplace violence, or anything that results in a disruption of your day-to-day business operation. It consists of tailored plans for business continuity and prepare officials to better handle preparedness and safety issues through training and exercises.

Many communities have been affected by natural disasters and climate change but the probability of their occurrence and the scope of their potential impact depends on communities’ vulnerability and their capacities and the most important aspect is it depends on how prepared they are.

In collaboration with governments, civil society and development partners, SIMEX expands its technical knowledge and expertise to make communities better prepared themselves and resilient to potential disasters. Communities will be sensitized on the disaster risk and its possible impact to the community and trained on vulnerability assessment, development of their preparedness and response plan and test their planning and capacity through simulation exercises and drills. They will also be supported on arranging the required resilience elements in coordination and collaboration with other agencies working in their Municipalities and empower them to access technical and financial resources to build their communities resilient. Community level youth volunteer squad will also be formed and given relevant training first aid and search and rescue in collaboration with government and other agencies.
